Dear friends in the Dharma,
As you already know, this October we'll have the great joy of Mindrolling Jetsun Khandro Rinpoche visiting Greece for the annual Teaching program.
Here we'd like to present you some useful information for the Teaching schedule.
The program will take place at mount Parnonas, at Rigdzin Gatsal, the land that the Center for learning and practice will be build soon. Rigdzin Gatsal is situated close to Leonidion town, and to the limits of Peleta village.
The Teachings will begin on Friday 8 of October, at 3pm and will continue for Saturday 9, Sunday 10 and Monday 11 with two teaching periods per day: 10-12am and 3-5pm.
Rinpoche said that the object of the Teaching will be on "Awareness".
The suggested offering for covering the expenses of the event is 120 euros for the four days. If someone faces financial difficulties, there is a solution, please contact us between 1 and 20 of September (the latest) and you'll be able to follow the Teaching program.
Accommodation: Poulithra village is lying by the sea, there are small units for renting rooms and it is just 20 minutes away from Rigdzin Gatsal (by car). October is an out of the touristic season month, so there are many free rooms and the prices are good. We have already contacted few of the owners and the prices will range between 40 and 55 euros for 2, 3 and 4-bed rooms.
There is also the possibility of camping at Rigdzin Gatsal, a specific area will be cleared and we'll provide chemical toilets, water and electricity.
Lunch: Concerning meals, we have agreed with a local tavern-owner at Peleta to provide us with lunch for Saturday 9, Sunday 10 and Monday 11. He offered a very nice menu with homemade delicacies of excellent quality at the price of just 8 euros per person and per day. This will allow us to have lunch without delays and there will be enough time for resting untill 3pm, where the afternoon Teaching will begin. For this reason please, as much as possible, avoid individual orders.
For your dinner you are free to choose, the same place or a tavern by the sea at Poulithra, or a little further away at Plaka village by the sea too. There is enough time at the evening to practice, relax and rest.
Transportation will be arranged on the base of helping each other, the ones that will come with their own car will take care the ones in need of transportation from Poulithra to Rigdzin Gatsal and back. Please when you'll register inform us if you'll have a car or you'll need transportation.

Useful informations: Please bring with you a cushion, hat, bottle of water, jacket and flat shoes. Good sleeping bag and flash lighter for the campers.
How to reach Rigdzin Gatsal: From the national road Athens-Korinthos , and after Isthmos, you turn left with direction to Tripolis and after right to Argos, take the direction to Leonidio. At the entrance of Leonidio turn to the left towards Plaka - Poulithra - Peleta. Upon reaching Poulithra take the road to the right up to the mountain with direction to Peleta. On the way to Peleta the road splits to left and right, take the right one!! This will take to the entrance of the village Peleta, on your right you can see the guest-house "Zavalis" and to your left a small road. Take this road for approximately 750 meters and to you right you will see a road with a Christian small white construction resembling a miniature-church just at the meeting point of the two roads. Turn there to the right and drive for 450 meters. Rigdzin Gatsal is on your left.

LEONIDIO - POULITHRA: Monday Wednesday Friday (only): 5.45, 11.00, 13.30
LEONIDIO - PELETA: : Monday Wednesday Friday (only): 5.45, 13.30
Transportation using TAXI from Leonidio to Poulithra around 10 euros and to Peleta around 23 euros.
